LEARN TO PLAY
COVID-19 UPDATE MONDAY MAY 25, 2020
We are placing a temporary hold on all camp registrations while we await the new rules for summer camp programs to be released by the health officials of the province. All those already registered will keep their spots but this is subject to change as new announcements come through. Regardless, camp activity will be modified to offer a safer environment within the constraints of COVID-19. We are exploring alternative lesson programs for siblings and will have more information on that soon.
Thank you for your understanding. Any questions, please message our Camp Director, Hayden Edwards, through the contact form below.
St. Andrew’s Valley offers one of the finest junior golf camps in Canada. No other course can match our facility. We offer a large six bay sheltered tee deck for weather protection, three target greens for realistic iron practice, groomed sand bunkers, and a beautifully manicured bent grass putting green. We are the only camp with its own private golf course for the exclusive use of the students. All this exists in the completely separate setting of our top rated Teaching & Training Centre.
All camps are co-ed and carefully divided into small groups based on age, skill level, and friendships. Campers ages 7-16 will best benefit from our program, and all skill levels are welcome. For many, one week is a minimum as we take care not to put alumni through the same program.

All aspects of the game of golf are covered. We begin with the history, learn the terminology, the basic rules and proper etiquette. In teaching the swing, we start with a pendulum putting stroke which flows naturally into chipping and approaching. With this foundation the student can expand into the full swing which is what we teach … a swing not a hit. We want the kids to develop a strong foundation on which they can grow as players. Once the basics are acquired they are sharpened with friendly skills competitions and developed on our private River Course.
A hot lunch is included. Different menus are served each day; pizza, sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs as well as drinks and snacks. A supervised picnic area is provided with juice and water available throughout the day.
EQUIPMENT & DRESS CODE
We have junior sets of clubs that are available at no charge for those who do not have their own. A t-shirt or polo, shorts, a light sweater or jacket, a hat, and running shoes is the recommended dress code.
Early drop off and late pick up are possible by special arrangement, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
*A $50 processing fee will be applied to all refunds unless government restrictions are to blame for a cancelled season or session.
