    Golf Camp

St. Andrew's Valley offers one of the finest junior golf camps in Canada. No other course can match our facility. We offer a large six bay sheltered tee deck for weather protection, three target greens for realistic iron practice, groomed sand bunkers, and a beautifully manicured bent grass putting green. We are the only camp with its own private golf course for the exclusive use of the students. All this exists in the completely separate setting of our top rated Teaching & Training Centre within St. Andrew's Valley Golf Club in Aurora.

This year we are offering ten one-week sessions. Each camp will consist of five days; Monday to Friday, 9:30 to 3:00. Class size is limited to 40, with a six-to-one ratio of campers to instructors. All camps are coed and broken into groups based on age, skill level, and friendships. Campers ages 7-16 will best benefit from our program, and all skill levels are welcome. For many, one week is a minimum as we take care not to put alumni through the same program.

Golf is a game you have for a lifetime, so make sure it's a lifetime of fun and fulfillment; not frustration and anger. St. Andrew's Valley Golf Camp has built a reputation that requires early enrollment to avoid disappointment. A great percentage of our campers return each year. We pride ourselves in making the game fun for the kids while providing excellent professional instruction. The program is managed by Nathan Nisbet, run by the Golf Camp Director, Dylan McConnell, and is staffed by instructors who have years of experience teaching golf and working with children.

$440 per camper ($497.20 with HST)

All aspects of the game of golf are covered. We begin with the history, learn the terminology, the basic rules and proper etiquette. In teaching the swing, we start with a pendulum putting stroke which flows naturally into chipping and approaching. With this foundation the student can expand into the full swing which is what we teach ... a swing not a hit. We want the kids to develop a strong foundation on which they can grow as players. Once the basics are acquired they are sharpened with friendly skills competitions and developed on our private River Course.

A hot lunch is included. Different menus are served each day; pizza, sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs as well as drinks and snacks. A supervised picnic area is provided with juice and water available throughout the day.

We have junior sets of clubs that are available at no charge for those who do not have their own. A t-shirt or polo, shorts, a light sweater or jacket, a hat, and running shoes is the recommended dress code.

Early drop off and late pick up are possible by special arrangement, please email Dylan for details at dylan@standrewsvalley.com.
